Buen Aché is an Afro-Latino dance company based in Charleston and Greenville, South Carolina. The company seeks to create awareness of the vibrant African contribution to Latino culture, music, and dance. Drawing on folkloric dances of Cuba, Peru, Dominican Republic, Brazil and other Latin American nations, Buen Aché explores elements of African artistic expression in the New World.

Buen Aché believes that the addition of an Afro-Latino presence to South Carolina’s artistic and cultural scene serves to emphasize the connections of the African Diaspora throughout the Americas.
